Biography

Over the last 20 years in Sales and Account Management roles, Kevin Perrin has become a client experience ace and an expert in analysing purchasing trends.

As the Head of Commercial and Sports relations for ATPI Canada, he is responsible to identify and develop new revenue streams. He is the primary point of contact for the ATPI Sales and Customer Service teams, as well as the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) for whom ATPI is the official ticketing, travel and hospitality partner.

His career started in 1999 in the sales department of the Fairmont Manoir Richelieu. He then joined the team of St-Sulpice Boutique Hotel, as soon as it opened, as Sales Manager for all Corporate groups. One of its mandates was to develop relationships with the Entertainment industry in the early 2000s (Hollywood film productions). After spending 12 years in Hotel Sales, including 4 years at the Delta Centre-Ville, he opened the brand-new Westin Montreal in 2008. Then he was approached by a new airline that everyone was talking about: Porter Airlines. He completed 4 years developing the corporate market in Quebec before moving on to the travel management company Encore Travel. As the Director of Account Management, he had the opportunity to work with major Canadian companies such as Intact, Agropur, Saputo, Transcontinental, Roche, Proaction International, Altascience, to name a few.

Kevin has learned from the best in the hotel industry and has contributed greatly to it as well. Through his many trips abroad, he has proudly promoted and showcased local establishments. Recognized by his peers, he looks forward to taking ATPI Canada to other levels.

Q&A

Which travel destination has impressed you the most and why? Tokyo is the most populated city in the world with its 38 million inhabitants. So I thought I would experience a slight culture shock, but it was quite the opposite. I loved the rhythm, the dynamism, the cultural offer, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.

Which travel destination do you dream of and why? Indonesia. I feel it has so much to offer as it looks mysterious to me, exotic and so many natural wonders to discover.

Which Olympic discipline appeals to you the most and why? Athletics (Decathlon). You cannot help but marvel at what these athletes can do on an elite stage.

What do you prefer most in events and why? I love that every event is a new canvas allowing us to show our creativity and expertise.
