Yoan began his professional journey in the event industry as an event producer for his local TEDx Talk club during college. This experience sparked a passion for event production, which he decided to combine with his long-standing interest in sports. Over the years, Yoan gained diverse experience in conferences, meetings, and working with a sports association. A significant highlight of his career was volunteering for the Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia. In April 2024, he joined ATPI Canada, further advancing his career in sports events.
His Passion
Yoan has always been passionate about sports and has played soccer for as long as he can remember. Through the years, he also discovered other sports such as cycling, volleyball, and running, which led him to learn more about sports competitions and make a career out of it. Outside of work, Yoan enjoys playing music, trying new experiences, and discovering all the hidden secrets of Montreal.
Most Impressive Travel Destination
Japan stands out as Yoan’s most impressive travel destination. He is captivated by Japan’s unique blend of culture, nature, cuisine, and hospitality. The country’s attention to detail, especially in cuisine, left a lasting impression on him. Yoan admires how Japan harmoniously integrates its rich historical heritage with modern advancements in both architecture and daily life.
Dream Destination
Yoan dreams of exploring Iceland. He is eager to meet the local people, witness the country’s stunning natural beauty, and experience its famous hot springs. The allure of possibly seeing the Northern Lights adds to his fascination. Iceland’s mysterious and otherworldly landscapes strongly appeal to his sense of adventure and curiosity.
Favorite Olympic Discipline
Volleyball is Yoan’s favorite Olympic discipline. While he enjoys playing the sport for fun, he finds watching professional volleyball to be truly remarkable. The speed, strength, and skill of the players make each match thrilling, filled with close calls and dramatic turnarounds that keep him on the edge of his seat.
