After graduating with a Bachelor degree of Business Administration with a focus on tourism and travel services management, Ghada quickly paved her way in business travel management. She has worked on major conventions, sporting events and group travel for companies since 35 years.
She joined ATPI Canada as Director of Operations in 2018. Since then, Ghada has contributed to the advancement of the national branch by organizing and managing a skilled team and applying the latest technologies to support the group, in addition to airline contracts and negotiations, ticketing procedures, reconciliations, etc.
She began her career with the Spanish airline Iberia as an airport ticketing agent and worked for Gogo Worldwide Vacations, one of the United States largest consolidators. Ghada acquired a lot of experience and knowledge in the travel industry and got IATA certified, destinations specialist certificate. She moved to American Express Global Travel to specialize in corporate travel and group events, and then worked for Flight Center under the FCM management brand for major corporate accounts. She also participated in the opening of the Quebec office branch and became Operations Team Leader.
Ghada is an expert in Hotel negotiations and verifications of airline contracts for the best corporate and group rates, as well as GDS specialist. She opened the first Stage and Screen brand in Montreal, a flight center that specialise in sports events and entertainment business. The organization took care of the Rio Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and C2 events in addition to several other accounts.
Which travel destination has impressed you the most and why? Spain is my favorite country for culture, history, it’s really incredible.
Which travel destination do you dream of and why? Hawaii is on my to-do list, hoping to go there soon. Why?
Which Olympic discipline appeals to you the most and why? I love gymnastics in all their disciplines, it’s a great sport.
What do you prefer most in events and why? The end result, however tired you may be, the feeling of satisfaction is indefinable.
