Her favorite pastime

Shelley loves baking. Her creations are not just culinary masterpieces but a source of fun shared generously with family and friends – assuming there are any treats left after the taste-testing phase!

Dream destination

Having been fortunate to explore the world through her previous work, Shelley’s dream destination is Italy. The majestic Italian Alps, Tuscany wine, the historic Roman architecture, the pittoresque Amalfi Coast, and not to forget the delights of Italian food! Despite her global travels, Shelley cherishes the beauty of coming home to Canada. One of her all-time favorite destinations is the unique and chilly Iqaluit, Nunavut. Having visited twice, she describes it as an extraordinary experience in her own backyard.

Favorite Olympic discipline

Figure skating holds a special place in her heart. The mesmerizing combination of artistry and athleticism during a four-minute performance creates a nail-biting experience. Shelley’s fascination with figure skating traces back to the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, showcasing some pretty incredible moments with the battle of the Brians, the battle of the “Carmens” and a surprise silver medal from Canada’s very own Elizabeth Manley! Since then, she has been an avid fan and dedicated spectator.
