Biography

After 11 years of management work experience in Taiwan in the restaurant industry, Nathan decided to move to Canada in 2018 and began studying in the Special Events Management program at George Brown College (Toronto, Ontario). During his time at school, he participated in various volunteer programs, such as Toronto Fashion Week, the Canadian Arts and Fashion Gala, the World Education Congress and the Toronto International Film Festival. Nathan is a committed and inclusive professional.

He began working as an intern at ATPI in January 2020 and officially joined the organization just after graduation. His role involves managing the EventsAIR systems, a tool that helps the team set up customer registration from an app, website or survey for example, and OnAIR, a virtual events platform that allows ATPI to create virtual or hybrid events for its customers.

Q&A

Which travel destination has impressed you the most and why? Cancun. It was a great experience, the beaches are incredible.

Which travel destination do you dream of and why? Palau. It’s a diver’s paradise.

Which Olympic discipline appeals to you the most and why? Baseball. I’m a big fan, even though baseball hasn’t been a permanent competition since 2008.

What do you prefer most in events and why? Passion and emotion. Events trigger these feelings, you feel them and live  them intensely.
