SUBJECT: Tokyo 2020 announces no overseas spectators at Games

Montreal/Toronto – On March 20, 2021, the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee announced that the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo would be held without overseas spectators. The current state of the world is something bigger than the Games itself, and ATPI stands in unity with the Canadian Olympic Committee and Canadian Paralympic Committee, keeping our athletes and team members safe.

We acknowledge that this announcement has consequences that will affect you, and since this was just released, we will work diligently and as quickly as possible with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee and the different stakeholders on your behalf.
